记者昨从襄阳住房公积金管理中心获悉，去年，全市新增公积金职工3万多人，5000多户家庭获公积金贷款买房。

由于利率较低，公积金贷款一直是市民贷款买房的首选。据统计，去年，全市发放公积金贷款5160户，发放金额17.23亿元。去年，我市新开户公积金缴存单位388家，新增缴存人数3.2万人；归集住房公积金37.2亿元，同比有所增长。

除了支持市民贷款买房外，公积金还支持市民支付房租、应对家庭突发事件和重大疾病等。去年，总共提取公积金160432笔18.44亿元，其中购建房提取9050笔5.72亿元、还贷提取132775笔7.36亿元、离退休提取8074笔3.89亿元。
